Mark

Good post

The only thing that you need to tweak is the "Before and After Date Type of Searches". Twitter search only keeps approx 1-3 weeks worth of data so you cannot search for info on an event from a month or two before. If I am missing something, please let me know

For instance, if you wanted to recall the conversation happening at the Web 2.0 expo in New York from late 2009, you can't do this on Twitter Search.

w2e until:2010-02-06 only generates results from the past week (in fact, it stops at Jan 29, 2010)

Attempting to refine the search results to w2e until:2009-11-20 yields nothing.

While Twitter search is a very powerful tool, the inability to mine data older than a few weeks old is a big shortcoming.

Thanks for this info. I have only done word searches to find a group of people I'd like to follow. if I may ask, How do I find out if anyone has Retweeted any of my tweets? Or replied to me thru the feed? Sometimes it goes by so fast & I can't sit here all day. LoL ...dying to figure that out. Again Thanks.
